Tim Munderloh is the founder and Principle of Operation: Veteran’s Assistance. He is a former enlisted Communications Electrician (IC-2/E-5) who won an NROTC scholarship and became a Surface Warfare Line Officer. He served on USS MIDWAY (CV-41) in the Gulf War as an enlisted man and on USS JOHN PAUL JONES (DDG-53) and USS JOHN F KENNEDY (CV-67) as a Line Officer. He was badly injured on the KENNEDY and was subsequently medically discharged as a Lieutenant (O-3).
In 2004 Tim Munderloh began helping veterans and their families apply for the Aid and Attendance benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In 2009 he founded Operation: Veteran’s Assistance as a community service to assist veterans, widows of veterans, and their families in understanding the value of the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits that are available to many war-time veterans and their surviving spouses.
Our primary mission is to assist as many families that can be reached, make them aware of their eligibility for VA benefits, and help however legally possible in obtaining those benefits.
A network of local senior communities and home health care agencies have utilized our training and educational workshops and together through our partnership of cooperation have secured the benefits for numerous veterans or their widows.
Operation Veteran’s Assistance is a public service whose personnel have been trained to seek out Veterans and their widows who may be entitled to the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits, particularly, the Non-Service Connected Improved Pension Benefit.
There is No cost associated with these services — not to the facility, not to any resident of a facility, and not to their family members. It is illegal for anyone to charge a veteran or his/her family member for assisting in the collection of documents, analyzing the situation and preparing a claim for benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We will work with any Veteran or the widow of a Veteran in obtaining the benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. This is an earned benefit intended to recognize wartime veteran’s service.
NOBODY will ever be denied our services
